Day two of the Sport Chalet IB regional tour began with a stellar performance. Starting off was the "Sling For Bling" tow assistance event. Competitors in 4ft plus clean Imperial Beach surf, were busting massive moves. Jeff Hubbard had a great energy in the water and really went for big on each attempt. The crowd on site and also on the web seemed to be elated to see Jeff pushing the sport as he always does. As for that reason, he was rewarded the winning vote from the judges as the winner of the event. A big first time performance went down with David Phillips coming from Kaui pulling out with a huge air reverse, fully completed rotation, and cleanly landed an air reverse! Spencer Skipper was not on his game as he had a final pro event on his mind coming up later that day.

Charity Bodyboarding Competition and Beach Fest, Presented by Honest Tea, to take place this August (16-17) at Casino Pier in Seaside Heights, NJ. Come rock out with your fellow bodyboarders and support some great causes in the process -- we'll be donating 100% of the proceeds to local and national charities.

The folks at Ride iT! BB Mag Online have launched a new edition of their epic online magazine. It might be hard for you to read the articles (in Spanish and Portugeuse), but countless pictures of tantalizing waves and babes make this worthy of your perusal. Check it out at www.rideitbb.com.

ECBB personal favorites included the mutant waves of Punta Gorda, Quemao, and the sites of Playa Mujeres.

An Exciting Fund Raising Event to Help Save Our Ocean

�Surf Night� will be taking place on April 30th 2008 from 7pm-10pm in Monmouth University�s Pollak Theater. The nights main event will include the premiering of popular films in the surfing and body boarding industries: VarCity Media-Joe Carter�s �Get in the Van� and No Friends Productions �Decade�.

Ocean County Library Film Festival

The Ocean County Library is holding a film festival, and would be stoked to have some bodyboarding films submitted and was excited about that.

You heard right! After making its way across the world, the ROAM premier stops on the Island of Manhattan in the East Village (New York City).

Dillon Druz (NJ) Clinches USBA Am Title

On the first day of the USBA National Bodyboarding Tour season finale,the Ledges Pro (Maui, HI), Manasquan, New Jersey�s 14-year-old �super grom� Dillon Druz clinched the USBA National Amateur Championship title.

Jenks Pro Day 1 Press Release

Day one of the Jenks Pro saw an early morning disappointment with no swell for the first half of the day!
